Medical Secretarial Course
Designed to be an introduction to the work of a medical secretary, to help you understand what to expect from life working in the medical department of a hospital or GP surgery, this medical secretarial course can be taken either on its own or as a module in part of our medical secretary diploma programme. The medical secretarial course then involves ten lessons which include medical terminology on a range of subjects such as orthopaedics, cardio and neurology. Lesson twelve is a consolidation of all you have learnt so far to help this sink in. As with all our courses, the medical secretarial course is self-paced and you work through it at your own rate, with tests along the way to assess your progress.
As well as supplying you with the necessary theoretical and practical skills, we also strive to help you develop the confidence needed to carry out these duties. By practising these procedures in our training centres, you should be comfortable in slipping into your new role with ease.
