Teeline For Beginners. Teeline is generally considered to be the shorthand method that is the fastest to learn and the easiest to use for taking dictation. And as the Pitman name is synonymous with learning shorthand, you can be assured of a high quality learning experience with us! From being a redundant skill in the early 2000's, shorthand is suddenly back in fashion, with many top jobs requiring it. Our shorthand students have a variety of jobs - journalism, executive PA, legal secretary - all sorts! Many of them require shorthand for taking the minutes of meetings, especially where they work for very senior people. This popular course was written by the co-author of "Teeline Revised" and is recommended by Teeline Education Ltd. Our training is designed so you can study at times to suit your own lifestyle and you can start at any time at our Notting Hill and High Holborn training centres. We're open from 09:00 - 20:00 Monday to Thursday; 09:00 - 16:30 on Fridays and from 10:00 - 16:00 on Saturdays, so it's easy to fit your studies around your other commitments. What Is Covered. This course consists of three stages over an average 60 study hours which should be completed in quick succession to avoid 'learning gaps'
