Pitman Training Bookkeeping Courses.

I’ve seen it happen. Bookkeeping courses can change people’s lives.

We had one student who was desperately unhappy on the checkout at a major supermarket chain.

She couldn’t stand the pressure of having to scan X number of items per hour.

That’s what motivated her to investigate bookkeeping courses as a way of bettering herself.

Now she works in accounting at an international consulting firm.

Another student hated taking orders in a call centre so his sister saved up the money to put him through enough bookkeeping courses to become an Accounting Technician.

A dentist from South Africa came over just to take bookkeeping courses with us because he realised dentistry was the wrong profession for him and he wanted to qualify in the financial and accounting field.

Those are life-changing stories.

We hear it all the time. Dissatisfied people who know that a little education can be an escape route from low paid work.

The great thing about Pitman Training’s bookkeeping courses, at least in London (Notting Hill and Holborn) as well as in Manchester, is that you can start a course at any time, so there’s no waiting for term to start, which is very attractive when you just want to get on with it.

And the fact that we’re open for study from 09:00-20:00 Monday to Thursday, 09:00-16:30 on Fridays and 10:00-16:00 on Saturdays means that even if you work irregular shifts, you can still come in and study, even if it’s only for an hour.

So you get a nationally recognised qualification and studying is really convenient.

The hardest part is getting the money together as getting a respected certificate, diploma or other qualification is never going to be cheap.

But the franchisee who operates the training centres in Holborn, Notting Hill and Manchester has even thought of a way to make paying easier, so they’ve pretty much removed all the barriers to getting on with it.

The only thing you have to remember is that you’ve got to work at getting your book-keeping qualification.

That means memorising things, practising what you’ve learnt and thinking through the implications of the knowledge you’ve gained.

Fortunately Pitman Training’s bookkeeping courses are very practical so you get lots of practice, but you still have to work at it.

Our trainers are really friendly though and they’re pleased when you ask for help because that’s what they’ve been trained to do.

Most of them started off as students with us, so they know exactly what you’re going through.

So I would definitely encourage people to study bookkeeping courses with us because we’d hope that your salary when you go into book keeping should liquidate your investment in the training.

And it doesn’t take too long to qualify.

But the best way to check out if our methods are right for you is to come and have a chat with me and my fellow Course Advisors, followed by a free sample of some of our bookkeeping courses.

That way, you’ll be confident in us.

Course Advisor

We have a really wide range of bookkeeping courses for all levels.

We can slot you in at whatever your own level is and our most sought after qualifications are our diplomas – Foundation In Bookkeeping and Accounting Technician.

The latter has most of our bookkeeping courses all packaged together along with Excel to advanced level and, usually, a bit of company law.

It’s very comprehensive and is the one that gets the jobs!

Foundation In Bookkeeping has fewer subjects but is also well respected.

Of course, you don’t have to take a diploma programme if you don’t want to.

It’s fine for you to take a single accounting subjects such as Basic Bookkeeping or Sage Line 50.

The key with us is flexibility and convenience.

So why not give us a call to find out more about us?
