Course Reviews By Students.

Stella Ioannou -"Since I was the only attendee from abroad, I had the opportunity to see how other PAs work, the problems they are facing and how they are treated.  My trainer was very helpful and answered all my questions and suggested solutions to the problems I told him I was facing."

Reyhaneh Musalaei - "I would be always grateful to Pitman Training for introducing such an invaluable course to PAs and it was a privilege to be trained by a very knowledgeable and professional tutor like Mr Adam Fidler.

To have the opportunity to meet other fantastic PAs and listening to their problems and learning their methods of working was an incredible learning development for me.

I started to implant what I learnt from the training straight away from Wednesday 15th February ,to be precise I left the house with a completely different attitude and since then I am a different person , more efficient , positive and happy.

This course changed my overall view about living, which not only affected my performance at work but also my personal life.

I am interested to accomplish different training courses in the future and I have already recommended this course to different companies."

Personal Assistant Courses

Our personal assistant courses are aimed at senior secretaries and personal assistants striving to reach the top level skills required to deliver the highest level of assistance to senior bosses. Whether you wish to demonstrate these new attributes in your current employment, or you are hoping to secure a higher position in your field through our personal assistant courses, this two day seminar is perfect for attaining all the essential information you need.

This valuable course also includes useful advice about your own personal direction, helping you answer questions about your current situation and where you wish to go, as well as what you like and dislike about your current role.

Personal Assistant Course

This exciting seminar is a personal assistant course written and led by Adam Fidler, the national PR officer for European Management Assistants, who has extensive experience in assisting board level directors, of which his most current position is as the Executive Assistant to the most senior director of Salford City College. Adam has worked for a number of organisations like Boots PLC and Bank of America and has gained valuable insight into the skills and attributes needed for a career as an executive assistant. As a qualified secretarial and business studies teacher, Adam is also something of an expert on general office skills, making him an excellent candidate to lead a personal assistant course.

The seminar is structured in four main categories. The first quarter serves as an introduction; the second part concentrates on Redefining the Role of The Executive Personal Assistant. The second half of this personal assistant course focuses on Your Values, Beliefs and Personal Motivation and The PA Behaviour Model.

Executive Assistant Courses

Adam will deliver this programme on two dates in 2012, the first of which starts on May 28th until 29th, with the second commencing the 18th until 19th June 2012. This high impact two day seminar has all the detailed course objectives you would expect from the best executive assistant courses. This includes acquiring important technical skills like the use of programmes to better organise your work, as well as focussing heavily on personal attributes.

Some of the important interpersonal skills you will discuss include how to deal with your emotions at work and the increasing importance of behaviour at senior level. Our Executive Assistant courses also contain advice on interaction with colleagues, such as how to work effectively with senior managers.

Executive Assistant Course

What really sets this seminar aside from others is its real life value. From our fantastic student feedback we can see that one of the things you loved most about our executive assistant course was that it gave a great opportunity to see what life as a PA is like, the problems faced and how these are resolved.

Although this executive assistant course is not a Pitman Training Course, a certificate of attendance will be presented to each participant, which can provide a great talking point in interviews as well as a respected addition to any CV.
