Who Should Take This Course?
If you need to learn to touch type figures into a computer, this short Numeric Data Entry Course is an easy route to success.
The course has been designed for anyone who regularly inputs figures into a computer and needs to improve their productivity by learning to touch type the number keys.
It’s popular with bookkeepers and is a core module in our Accounting Technician Diploma, our biggest and most comprehensive bookkeeping course.
What Will I Learn?
You’ll learn the home keys, keys 7, 8 and 9, data entry work keys 1, 2 and 3, key 0 and the decimal point and arithmetic operators.
You’ll also cover using the numeric keypad with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
Course Structure – How We Train
You’ll work through the course in your own time, completing a series of exercises to help you get to grips with the numeric keypad.
It’s a self-paced course which you can study in your own time, at hours to suit you. Study in one of our training centres or from home via our distance learning programme.
Our opening hours are really flexible, and include evenings and Saturdays to make it convenient for you to fit your training around your other commitments.
